Bigar - Berzasca round trip is 46 kilometers long, yet it is an easy and spectacular route that entertains you. It takes you along Berzasca and Sirinia valleys and then through Bigar village, a village of ethnic Czechs, and to the villages of Drencova and Cozla along the Danube. Sirinea River forms steep gorges, canyons, waterfalls and beautiful caves, offering a unique landscape in the area of the village Bigar. he trail goes on well maintained gravel roads and mainly follows the valleys of the two rivers. In fact, regardless of the direction chosen, there is a climb to the village of Bigar and then a descent to Berzasca. Bigar village, sitting on the hill and founded by the Czech “Pemi” in 1827, with its cross-shaped streets, may well be a starting point for other areas in Almaj Mountains. Accommodation is possible in local homes, a unique experience given by the simplicity and kindness of the villagers. earn more about the village of Bigar here http://www.banaterra.eu/romana/toponimii/b/bigar/index.htm
