The round trip around Arjana peak starts in Bogiltin and goes to Prislop saddle and the hamlets in Cerna Mountains - Prisacina and Dobraia, and then descends to Bolvasnita Valley. The trail starts with a demanding climb just outside the village of Bogiltin, with many difficult sections where you can hardly ride the bike. Up to Fantana Babii, the climb gets easier and you enter the cool beech forest. A little more effort and you reach Prislop saddle, with an incredible view of Cerna Valley and Mehedinti Mountains. The descent is aggressive on the path to Prisacina, an isolated hamlet between steep slopes and grassy meadows. Go further to Dobraia, an area with stunning landscapes that leave you breathless. Dobraia, a hamlet with only a few houses scattered here and there and a church on top of the hill, “boasts with its daughter, Maria Draghicescu, the artist who promoted these places through her music. The fast descent to Bolvasnita Valley ends when you cross the river and climb briefly to get to Bela Reca valley in Globurau. From there to Bogiltin, continue up on the concrete road along the reservoir built on Bela Reca River.
