This is a loop trail in the southern part of Rodnei Mountains, starting from the town of Nasaud. Taking into account that the total distance is roughly equally divided between asphalt and dirt roads, this route is also recommended for cyclotourism. Leave Nasaud and follow DN17D and DJ172B roads towards Nasaud-Parva and have a hydration break at Carpathia mineral spring in Parva as you have already biked a considerable distance. From the end of Parva, the asphalt ends and you continue on the dirt road along Rebra Valley. This is the longest valley in Rodnei Mountains. Follow it to Gura Rebra area, where Guset Creek flows into Rebra. At this point, turn left and start a long ascent followed by a long descent on Telcisor Valley. At the entrance to Telciu village get to the asphalt and the intersection with DN17C national road, where you bike south towards Cosbuc. Here, you can visit George Cosbuc Memorial House and you can also stop for a few moments at the Covered wooden bridge, which is one of the last of its kind in Europe. Get back on the bike and after cycling Salva-Nasaud section arrive at the starting point.
