The long, difficult and complex trail is only meant for those who are well-trained. The starting point is in Zarnesti, on Barsa Mare Valley, along the gravel road to Plaiul Foii Hut. Reach the hut and continue on Barsa Grosetului Valley towards Rudarita Forest Lodge. When you get there, leave the main valley and after 2 km on Lerescu Valley get off the bike and start a 750 m long and 250 m high section, where you have to push or carry the bike on the red stripe tourist trail that comes from Curmatura Lerescu Saddle. The descent to Pecineagu reservoir is also difficult as you have to follow the road for articulated forest tractors. Once you get down in the valley and then to the dam things change completely and you are going to start a long descent on Dambovita Valley, past Cascoe Hut, Clabucet colony and Satic village. Later you are going to ride through the impressive Dambovita Small Gorge. Reach Podu Dambovitei and continue on the SE side of the Piatra Craiului Mountains, then follow the road that climbs through the beautiful Dambovicioara Gorge towards Ciocanu and then to Sirnea. A narrow dirt road and hayfield paths connect Sirnea to Pestera village. Further, the road between Pestera and Magura is already well-known, with countless outstanding views. From Magura, descend to Fantana lui Botorog spring and then continue towards Zarnesti along the valley, past Gura Raului Hut.
