The second trail in the southern extremity of the Persani Mountains. The trail climbs on the asphalt from Vulcan to Holbav. Before entering the village of Holbav, leave the main road and follow the narrow wagon roads that after several efforts take you below Magura Codlea Peak. From here, there is a great view of both the Bucegi and the Piatra Craiului, with scattered households similar to those in the Apuseni Mountains. After a short break, change direction to the west and a fast downhill takes you to the village of Paltin in Holbav Valley. Continue on the gravel road that soon turns into an asphalt road and reach 73A national road, where you change direction to the southeast and follow the asphalt road along Vulcanita Valley. When you reach the end of the valley, climb onto the ridge, where you carefully continue on less traveled wagon roads that soon take you back to the village of Vulcan.
